So, I'm pretty dang pale, as you can see: And I'm always searching for that perfect pale shade of foundation for my face. I bucked up and ordered 3 colors from Mehron's line of Celebre Pro HD makeup; Light 1, Light 2, and Light 3. I am happy to report that my color is Light 2, so that means if you are fairer than me, Light 1 should work for you! They also have a color called Eurasia Ivory if you want to go extremely light, almost ghostly. And of course, they have straight up WHITE if you want to be a ghost. I love this makeup. It is stage makeup so it lasts a long time when set with powder. It's creamy and brushes on and blends easily. Here's a link to the page: www.mehron.com/Celebre_Cream_Makeup_p/201.htm

I just use maybelline dream matte mouse in 04 light porcelain, the lightest one they do and it's pretty damn light! I can't afford anything super expensive, and this seems pretty good on my horrible combination skin.

Monique and I search the globe for pale foundation, so great to hear of another. Ones I've been impressed with - Loreal infallible in porceline - lovely shade and lasts rather well, but a touch on the pricey side at £12
Illamasqua rich liquid in RF115 and Skin base in 02 - my high end fav's but price hikes have sent me looking for alternatives
Make up Revolution in pro 02 and ultra face base 02. (and only £4/£3 each respectively!)
Revlon Colourstay 110 - I didn't like this at first as I have to use alot but picked up the oily skin one by accident so maybe its that! I have since found I DO like it more as it LASTS through sweat like nothing else.
Maybe we should have a pale foundation review thread?

I use Illamasqua Skin Base in 003, because I'm yellow. I really should have tried the Rich Liquid. Will have to go back and see if they have it in stock. I think it was like $30? Still looking for a foundation that will cover freckles completely and is cruelty free.

RF is VERY thick, I use it as a concealer then mix it with something else be it moisturiser or another foundation to use as every day make up. Its £30 in the UK, which has gone up by £6-8 in the last few months :/ not a cool move! I love Skin base but just...so much money!

I have a Skin Base in 02 but it is pricey and now it's summer here it does tend to make me look a bit too "wintry". I'm currently using the Revlon Colourstay (Ivory) and I LOVE it. Best High Street foundation I've used and pretty much the only one that is my colour.

I poppped into the local Illamasqua stand and tried out the Rich Liquid foundation. Yep, definitely what I'm after, so I caved in and bought it (online, in the sale, because, no stock of RL). Also got the cream foundation for 10 quid and a lip gloss

I use Bare Minerals because i have awful skin and regular foundation clogs my pores something rotten. i'm meant to use Fairly Light which is the next one up from the lightest. But I use a shade or two up from that because I hate having totally white skin. You can also use Warmth though which warms up your skin if you use paler shades, but I just use a bit of their bronzer. I do recommend Bare Minerals if any of you want to avoid all the chemicals in normal foundations.
Is Illamasqua cruelty free then? I love the brand but it's so expensive so I've never bought anything. So many of you use it though so I'm starting to get tempted to treat myself.

I used to use Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation on recommendation from a friend who was a make-up artist, and I was impressed with it. Really does last forever and gives great coverage. Just had to switch to mineral foundation because of my skin. And you can leave Bare Minerals on over night and it doesn't aggravate your skin which is wicked for when I'm being a dirty stop-out.
